Dec. 1st, 2004 08:41 amWTF!!! This is not snow, this is a neverending pool of slush!!! Snow I can deal with, snow I'm prepared for, heck, I was even looking forward to a couple inches of the white stuff, not a freaking smattering over a semi-frozen soup that is covering everything! Getting to the office this morning wasn't hazardous in the 'drive very slowly the roads are slick' sort of way but rather in the 'I have to walk two blocks from the parking structure in this crap!' sort of way. I hereby lodge a formal protest with Mother Nature, stuff like this just isn't cool. Snow is okay, snow is preferable, snow I like. That's it, no Christmas card for that Nature bitch.
At least I didn't have to go to the other office today. I can only imagine that freeway driving would be twice as aggravating what with all of the people who would be driving 35 freaking mph.
Speaking of the other office, tried a new coffee house down there the other day. Walked in and was hit by the strongest scent of marijuana I've smelled since my college dorm. Ordered a hot chocolate and discovered that it tasted more like hashish then it did like chocolate. *sigh* It made me a little homesick for Ann Arbor.
