Things have been rather hectic, of late. The office has been moving up to another floor and seeing as work is the only place where I have an internet connection I haven't been able to get online much at all since last Thursday. I'm sure I've missed all sorts of important things.

Am having a good ol' hippie freak out. The New Chick is in the office now, the one who'll be taking over my job come October and she's loud and brash and inappropriate and impinging on my territory. I'm all knotted up and nervous. I kind of want everybody to just go away.

Thank goodness for the all the Firefly goodness I've been watching the past couple of days.

Hopefully all connections will be up and running again tomorrow. *crosses fingers and toes*

That's the hardest thing, having your replacement there before you leave. Even when I left my job this spring and was handing my role over to a girl I'd been working with for a year, she still managed to step on my toes and impinge on my territory a few times. Hopefully she'll realize she's being a problem and settle down a little bit.

Crap! And the replacement-event is MONTHS away?! Nice. Ever feel like we're all in some crazy office sitcom, and somewhere, someone's just laughing their asses off at us? It's pretty scary how well we can identify with Office Space now, isn't it? and BTW, if you've never see the HBO series Dead Like Me, you should seriously think about watching it.

But on the bright side- hey, get ready to see some "men in tights" or well, kilts rather, this Saturday!!! ;)

Also, important news, which I knew but now is nearly upon us: Hetty Season 2 released August 9! Big Geoffrey overdose all that week at Fangirl HQ! Much fun to be had!

Also, I think Zippo misses you. Oh, and I had a frightening experience this morning when I realized I was OUT OF WISKAS. OMG, the drama! The wailing! The clawing of the walls, a la nails on a chalkboard! The flopping over at my feet and howling!

Firefly! That is a great program. One of my favourite things about it is how they mix Western and Chinese cultures together.
