Am off to a baseball game tonight even though the weather man says there might be snow.

WTF, Michigan! Snow!? Let's anthropomorphize the weather for long enough to kill it.

I bought some of those Star Wars dark chocolate M&Ms yesterday. I have to admit that based on culinary taste alone the Sith get my allegiance over the Jedi. Sure I love peanuts with my chocolate but dark wins out over milk any day of the week.

Did you know that there aren't decent movies coming out this week? Thank goodness Hitchiker's Guide comes out next weekend. However, I notice that Millions has finally appeared at my local theater. I might have to check it out after I get out of the All Day Exam of Doooooom tomorrow. If I have any brain cells left.

Speaking of the Exam of Dooooooom, am still in very minor freak-out mood. Have come to the conclusion that I will either know things or I will not and the fact of the matter is I've spent the past 25 years of my life accumulating the kind of information, mind-set and experience that would serve me well in a job like that so either it takes or it doesn't. If this doesn't work out I suppose I could always go to law school;-). Or I really could run away and start the Revolution.

I know! If found those sith m&ms last week and immediately converted to the dark side.

What is exam of doom? Good luck regardless!
And hey, I'm about ready to jump lifetracks and go to law school also. We could have the secret AW contingent!

Lots of luck. And Nix is really cute :)

How weird is it that I, apparently, am the only one of us who isn't joining the Sith? I'm a Jedi, pure and true. Milk chocolate is the only chocolate for me.

Mwahahahahaha. You feeble Jedi cannot even imagine the tastiness power of the Dark Side.

The Sith will obviously take over the universe. They just taste better.

Oh Yeah! I forget that people can't read my brain;-). The Exam of Dooooooom is actually the Foreign Service Written Exam. I want to be a diplomate *bounces*

And if it doesn't work out we the sooper sekrit law school contingent of the AW will most certainly be formed.

Thank you! Nix is awfully adorable, isn't he. *stares and adores*

Or maybe tasting better will be their downfall! They'll all get eaten and only the Jedi will be left!
ummmm

Ooh! that sounds spiffy! Lots of luck to you! I'm sure you'll do great.

Silly Nix :)

OH NO!! And then all the little Sith will be all eaten up and the universe will go on spinning. How tragic. *eats some more Sith*

Re: Exam of Doom. Remember all you've learned in fandom, and you'll be just fine, my dear.

Seriously: Breathe deeply. You'll do great. The RHAR is counting on you. No pressure, though.

Of course not! There's no pressure whatsoever in knowing that if I don't make it it through the whole process then the RHAR will fail and the aliens will take over the planet.

Except, not so much. *breathes* *breathes again* ;-D

Go! uh, Tigers? woot?

To quote Phoebe Buffay: "As you know, I'm a pacifist, which means I am against violence of all kinds. But I should tell you that when the revolution comes I will have to kill you all."

Actually, am off to a U-Michigan baseball game. I was raised with deep collegiate sport affiliations and only lukewarm professional ones. Though will always support the Tigers as doing anything else is simply inconceivable.

And this is why both you and Phoebe are important members of the RHAR.

What baseball game did you go to? I watched the Michigan vs. Ohio State game some when I was out to dinner that night.

You DID?!!!!! OMG! I was so totally there. We had seats directly behind home plate. The fifth inning was fabulous. Poor Buckeyes, but what can you expect from people who are named after nuts?

And how are you doing? Been meaning to leave my sentiments of commiseration.

That's awesome that you were there. We watched the last three innings on a television at the restaurant. Michigan killed them. I was amazed how many balls were hit all the way to the warning track. Aluminum bats are insane.

I'm doing okay. I went out last night with my neighbor and some friends of hers, and that was fun. I haven't been out in ages.

Shucks, you just missed us. We left after the sixth inning because the weather was just getting foul. That and U-M's domination was already secure. hail, hail to Michigan the champions of the west

Going out is good and exciting. Wish I had some pithy words of comfort that would make everything better but since I don't I will instead continue trying to distract you with shiny, silly things.

Shiny, silly things make the world go 'round. =)

Sadly, it was the first time I've gone out to something that wasn't either dinner or a film in all of 2005. I am a horribly boring person.

Eggzactly.

*squints at life* You know, I could pretty much say the same thing. I think I'd better get out and do something before I end up alone in a big house with a bunch of cats.

I'd have computers, not cats. I suppose it's all the same thing, though. They both like mice.

Come on, now. You've had enough exposure to my humor to know that's hardly the worst I can come up with -- even on short notice. =)

Oh, I know. I simply feel contractually obligated to react to all puns like that. I blame my father, I really do. :-D

Well, you know. S'all good.

I usually react to puns by ducking, since it's most likely I made the pun and someone is about to throw something at me.

Heh. One of my best friends from high school and college did not get along with ducks at all. They, for some reason, liked to attack him when he was near them. Weird stuff.
