Spam, spam, spamity spam.

Just took a walk down to the dollar store to buy a soda and enjoy the morning. On the way back I saw a car with one of those boots clamped on one of the front wheels (you know, like in that Simpsons episode where they have to go pick up their car from in between the World Trade Center) and a fire truck rushing down the street, sirens roaring. Plus I dropped my soda and had to be extra careful when I opened it.

Seeing Rita Sue on House last night has convinced me that the world is in need of more krazy krossovers. I don't need something long and plotty and epic, just little scenes where, I don't know, House gets abducted by the Carnivale or someone from Deadwood shows up in the O.C. or John Crichton appears in Smallville and shows them all what real angst is like.

[livejournal.com profile] baylorsr, Her Sister, and I have had some fun casting Easy Company into stock tv shows. Like, what if they were working in a hospital or a law firm? What sorts of jobs would which characters have and what kinds of crazy plots would they face? The great thing is, this could work for whatever happens to be your particular obsession at any given moment.

See, this is why I adore fandom. It's so rife with possibility.

My first love affair was so totally with books. Anything one can imagine one can create simply by writing it down. It's a miraculous thing.
