I have a headache. Stupid weather and it's stupid ability to make my sinuses pound against the inside of my skull. I will have to go in search of drugs and caffeine in order to thwart its evil ways.

I filled out my very first life insurance policy yesterday. You know you're really an adult when you have to decide who would get all of that money in the event of your death. Now if I'm stranded on a desert island and everyone thinks I'm dead then at least my family will get a little something out of my mysterious disappearance.

They're giving away apples in front of the office building today. Another thing I love about Michigan in the fall, all the apples a girl could possibly eat. They're also giving away coupons for a huge, insanely sweet drink from the coffee shop. That sounds really good at the moment.

So brain dead. My poor, dear brain, it's served me so well for so long. I'll miss it. *sob*

bye bye brain

Is someone already thinking about the television for tonight? Stranded on a desert island.

Shaun of the Dead is not playing in my area. This is a travesty.

Of course I'm not already thinking about what's on TV tonight, of course not ... *attempts to appear innocent*

That is a travesty of epic proportions. Don't they understand that the best way to recuperate after a tragedy is to see zombies eating peoples brains who are reacting in a humorous manner? For shame.

I know! I do not understand this choice. The movie Superbabies 2 is playing here. Not Shaun of the Dead, though.

I feel that the government should step in here. We have disaster relief needs already, this is just another disaster to relieve.

I missed the first episode of Lost, but got it on TWoP. I'm going to watch it tonight. Also want to watch Veronica Mars, which is getting great TWoP reviews.

Oh TWoP, I love thee so. I wish I could watch Veronica Mars but for all of the money we pay every month for a satellite dish UPN is sadly not one of the channels we receive.

Shaun of the Dead should be required viewing, especially in this strange, weather-apocalyptic time as it will teach all of us ordinary folk how to withstand the forthcoming zombie hordes and behead them with old LPs.

There's an LJ user named [livejournal.com profile] theferrett I read all the time -- he's hysterical -- and one of his posts was about how he's a computer programmer by trade and he's worried that the starving masses will kill and eat him when the apocalypse comes because he has no post-apocalyptical skills to offer them. Funny stuff, wish I knew where that post was.

Do you think that when we crash on a desert island all the other survivors will be as good looking as the ones on Lost?

Of course they will be! And there will be enough pretty for each of us to have our own harem and we'll spend the days cavorting on the beach.

Just as long as the monster in the jungle doesn't eat us.
