Thank goodness for caffeine. It makes the Monday morning work thing semi-bearable. Must resist urge to put my head down on my desk and fall asleep. Bleh.

Spent Sunday evening watching the Olympics. Boy is that entertaining. I'll watch anything, beach volleyball, gymnastics, rowing, fencing, you name it and I'm there. The sheer athleticism is overwhelming and the gratuitous eye candy of the men's swimming events is greatly appreciated.

So tired ... *snore*

I saw this this morning and could only nod my head in agreement. Ummm, belly rubs.

*giggle* I know.

And I would totally give up any information for a tummy rub;-).

I'm such the opposite when it comes to the Olympics. I know, quite strange for a sports nut like myself. But I just can't get into it. And I'll probably go to hell for hoping the men's basketball team doesn't win a medal. Oops, did I just say that??

That's okay, Perhaps the Olympics are mostly for none-sports nuts. The whole format just seems completely different from other sports broadcasts which is probably why I can get into it;-).

And, dude, I so agree with you about the US men's basketball team. I think a lot of people will be meeting us in patriotic hell;-).

Awwww! I'll be posting the first chapter of my new FLUFF story at the end of the week, and there's a puppy tummy rub in chapter 1! Tummy rubs are everywhere! Resistance is futile!

Oops! I got so distracted by the tummy rub, I forgot to mention the Olympics! There are certain sports I adore more than others (gymnastics, diving, synchronized swimming, certain track-and-field events, weight lifting), but it's all wonderful.

I concur, there are definitely sports that I perfer to others. It's just strange how I'll sit down and watch the most esoteric things during the Olympics;-).

Yay! More fluff! It is my theory that all the ills in the world can be healed with tummy rubs for all. *nods head sagely*

I love Calvin and Hobbs. Hobbs is the most untrustworthy best friend a kid could have, but he's also the coolest! Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Yeah, Hobbs is the woobiest, very much what the best, imaginary friend of a little boy should be like.

And I just couldn't resist sharing the tummy-rubbing goodnes!;-)

The men's swimming event is quickly becoming my favorite part of the Olympics. Gratuitous eye candy is right! It's like: wow! :)

Oh, I know. Thank goodness for the Olympics. Sometimes it's just like a punch to the gut, but in a good way;-).

Yeah, I'm with [livejournal.com profile] drunken_buzzard, can't really get into the Olympics either. But I'm not a sports fan either. I just think it's all really boring. If I ever sat down and watched them, I probably would watch for a little while, but lose interest eventually. Of course, I hardly watch any TV at all anymore... just don't have the time. :(

You don't watch the Olympics! *mind is boggled*

Heee, just teasing;-). I personally blame my Olympic fascination on years and years of sports indoctrination by the male members of my family. Their perfect because most of the events are really short so I get a sports kick out of them without having to deal with time-outs and things like that;-).

Caffeine, indeed, the magic substance... What can i say, I'm a certified coffee addict. I'll even drink instant coffee, that's how bad it is. I love watching the Olympics, not least because on Sunday our South African boys got the gold in the 4x100m relay, but once I get the time to sit down, I'll also watch anything, even boxing.

I saw that! I might have been rooting for the US team, but the overjoyed reaction of your South African boys was so infectious that I was swiftly converted into a South Africa fan;-).

The Olympics, the new crack.

And ditto on the caffeine. I'm actually not a coffee drinker, but that doesn't at all inhibit my caffeine consumption. It is the secret to happiness. *nods head*
