So, I broke down last week and bought Batman: Under the Red Hood. Which, yeah, duh, it combines two of my favorite things, Batman and Jensen Ackles. Plus the rest of the voice cast is fantastic. It was a most excellent movie with all of the violence and mangst one would expect from the storyline. I love you so very much you fucked up Batfamily.

I think Bruce Greenwood may be the best not-Kevin Conroy Batman I've ever heard. Good job Captain Pike!

And I might have squealed when Red Hood mentioned the friends that Joker had paralyzed because OMG an Oracle shout-out! They really, really, really, really have to make a Birds of Prey animated movie. That would make my life complete.

Also, while I was at the store I bought the first season of Batman: TAS. It was on sale for $20 and I couldn't resist. And ever since I've been watching episodes non-stop. IT'S SO AWESOME! I love how well it stands up, even after all of these years! Harvey Dent! Mark Hamill as the Joker! Catwoman! Kate Mulgrew as Red Claw! ALFRED!!!!!!! I'm almost to the end of the season and I don't know what I'll do! Well, obviously, I'll have to buy season two as soon as fiscally possible. Because I have to get to the Batgirl episodes, I just have to.

And it's times like this when I wish I still had ten billionty icons, just so I could share a little more Batman love with you.

Jason Todd is the best Robin ever! Yes, the voice actors in that were awesome! And the ending - when Alfred wants to put the thing away and Batman won't let him and before when he's all "he's still my son" and omg, now I remember why I loved Batman and Robin - daddy-issues. Love me some daddy-issues. The Joker was freaking amazing in that as well. And the animation...I'm so glad you bought that.

On to other animated things - she won't watch Avator/Airbender. Should I watch it alone or would you like to come and watch it with me? Feel like revisiting it? I could watch it alone, I need a new nighttime show (I just finished Mag7, I need Season Two like now, <3 pornstache guy so much! And Former-Slave-Turned-Medic Guy! And Con Man Guy!) Sorry, um, Airbender?
