(no subject)

You know what? I wish everyone would put together anthologies of their work and provide them for sale over at cafepress. I know I would buy quite a few of them. Having a bound copy of fic is something that's just really neat, plus it looks awfully cool sitting on a bookshelf.

Another thing I really love are remixes. I never sign up for them because me and fic challenges don't always mix all that well. I have a hard time meeting deadlines, especially with the whole law school thing, but I love the idea of taking someone's work and playing with it. It's like fanfic of fanfic! I think it would be really neat to have someone play with my fic like that, to see it from a different point of view.

Since I'm in a talkative mood, here, have some fic-like ramblings. I wrote this after I saw 4x02. I'm sure you people were much happier when I kept stuff like this to myself rather than sharing it all over the place. ;-)

Fic: Getting the Job Done

Title: Getting the Job Done
Fandom: Batman Begins/The Dark Knight
Rating: PG-13
Summary: There are still reasons to fight.

Author's Note: Right after I saw The Dark Knight the first line of this fic popped into my head. I've been waiting to write it ever since. This is kind of on-the-fly and it's weirdly in second person but it works for me. Sometimes you wonder why anyone in his/her/its right mind would ever stay around Gotham, especially since horrible things won't stop happening. Hopefully this helps answer that question, at least in this particular case.

And I guess this fic could be sub-titled 'Law School is Good for Something After All.' ;-)
