A Blue Day
Nov. 4th, 2003 03:38 pmI've been in a bit of a funk today, not quite sure why. I was all snippy with my parents last night as well, and they (ahem, my mom) didn't even deserve it, for once;-). I went to bed awfully early. It was all very weird. I was feeling rather blue earlier, but for some reason coming to work has cheered me up a little bit. If that's not strange, I'm not sure what is.
Another strange thing is that, to go along with the blue mood, I realized that I wore all blue today. Jeans, a white shirt with a blue pattern and a blue sweater. The thing is, I don't own a lot of blue clothes, period. It's either a strange coincidence or my subconscious is telling me to seek psychatric help. I'm all for the coincidence theory, personally;-).
Speaking of clothes, I bought new boots, yay! I haven't owned boots since I was a little kid and had to wear snow boots every winter. I now own a nice, black pair of calf-high boots with heels that I bought from Payless. I love, love Payless, it keeps the shoe addiction to a relatively managable financial level. I'm so easily entertained.
Well, November weather has begun. After the warmth promised for today we're supposed to have rain and cold for the rest of the week. Sigh.
