liptonrm_backupApparently LJ is going down for maintenance 10 tonight and I think that's PST because that's where the main thingamabobs are, I think. Figured I should get a post in now or lose my chance forever, or some such.
But, don't worry, there can't be another Great LJ Blackout because there is no Fangirl Holiday also occuring so we should all be spared the horror of losing our link with the outside world. That was crazy times, wasn't it? =D
Hour and a half BSG season finale tonight! W00t!!!!!! I am all sorts of excited, it's all I can think about, mostly. I hear that the new season won't start until October and that it might be moving to NBC. Waiting till October majorly sucks but it will give everybody a chance to catch up and moving to NBC could be a win-win situation for everyone.
Am feeling kinda trapped. This probably means I should get out and find some stupid part-time job or something, anything but I'm also lazy. These are not a good combination.
My grandma had bowel surgery earlier this week and according to all accounts she is doing fine. The Da, my brothers and I are going to see her tomorrow. The Mum will not be joining us because she hasn't talked to her husband's mother in nearly 20 year. Don't worry, she's equal opportunity, she hasn't talked to her family for nearly 15. Oh the drama.
You should all go out and buy the latest issue of GQ. It's only $4 (US) and has Matthew Fox on a motorcycle. The media doesn't always fail me. mmmmmmmmmm
Oy, I need a cut and color something fierce.
ETA: I saw some Logan & Weevil picspam and now I am d-loading Veronica Mars because I have to know what they are doing and why they are so hot. I'm a shallow, shallow girl.

I have to wait til tomorrow to see BSG finale! Grrr! Cool about it maybe moving to NBC, but I kinda have some SciFi love going, even if they went sattelite and excluded me. Because they Get It, you know? But NBC will make it easy for me to watch as it happens, so that is of the good.
My cats are on a hunger strike. Minou is glaring at me over her food choice (declined, fuck you very much) as I type. They don't seem to be drinking at all, either. No change in water levels over the last three days (though I have, of course, changed their water twice daily). They seem active and not sick though, so I'm trying to counter their strike with stoicism.

Re: Skiffy, I too am rather fond of SciFi, but the continued presence of the Stargates is obnoxious and kinda unforgiveable. Apparently Mitch Pileggi is on the Atlantis one. Poor Skinner, it's just not right.
You keep being stoic, mommy. They'll come around. Heck, soon they'll forget whatever their point is anyway. Anyway, only Gandhi's ever been able to pull the hunger strike off and I've got a feeling that Scout and Minou ain't him. =D
Though if this is their first step in their plan for world domination we all might be in trouble.

But do know that I know that Aaron's had his contract renewed for Season Three, but OMG on this show that could just mean CYLON and that would kill us all! DEAD I SAY!

I watched that SGA thing once. It was really really really bad. Poor Skinner.

I am so very frakked. They have wills of iron! Three full days, and all they've had is a few ounces of gravy. Tomorrow I collect the dry version of it, and after that they'll just have to starve.
