Wow. The trees are bare and the sky is grey. Helloooo November. You're here to stay with us a while, aren't you?

The Pup woke me up this morning. I was all content to stay snuggled up in my bed but he was having none of it. He ran upstairs, ran downstairs, jumped on me, chewed on my blankets and shoved his wet nose in my face. No good morning cuddle today, just hyperactivity and whining.

I promise I didn't throttle him ... much. ;-)

Missed House last night (WOE) because everybody was home and we were watching Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was, well, it was good, I suppose. The kids were wonderfully cast. I wasn't too keen on all of the Wonka flashbacks but Johnny was great, as always. I couldn't understand the Oompa Loompa songs very well but it was kinda neat the way that they used all of those different music genres. I wasn't wowed and amazed but it wasn't a bad evening's entertainment.

I think I just volunteered my TV for use by the rest of the family. There's is getting old and doing this annoying high pitched squealing thing everytime it's turned on. Maybe I need to squash that unfortunate sharing reflex or else by the time I get the hell outta Dodge I won't have anything to take with me. I mean, shoot, I already gave away my toaster oven and now my TV; what in the world will be next?

I suppose I should go and wash some dishes, earn my keep around this place. Wash dishes, cook meals, rake leaves, I don't need to find a job now that I've become the Lipton Family Housekeeper.
