Nov. 3rd, 2005 04:07 pmYou know one of the best things about being unemployed? Being able to stay in your pyjamas and robe the entire day. This must be what guilt-free decadence feels like.
The tree outside my parents' office is absolutely stunning, red and orange and strikingly vibrant. This autumn has been one of the most beautiful that I can remember.
Looks like I'll be going to see Jarhead this weekend with a few friends. See, that's why they cast the really attractive men in the war movies, it doubles their possible attendance. Men'll go because shit is being blown up and there's all sorts of man and buddy pain and the women go because things are extremely pretty and man pain makes things even prettier.
We're a world of visual sluts, aren't we? ;-)
Spent the past few days in Farmington at some employment seminar that the Mum signed me up for. I don't actually remember agreeing to go but she signed the Wrestler up to so I had to anyway. Very crafty of her. What I took away from the experience was a renewed determination to go to law school and never work in administrative support ever again. Evar.
Watch, in a month I'll be eating my words ...
I really need to start watching what I eat, again. Stupid Halloween, always packing on the pounds. But candy is so yummy, isn't it?

And thank you, I like to think I have a way with words. Not that it's gotten me into anything but trouble. *wink*
The good movie season is nigh upon us. Woe for my already empty checking account.

Date: 2005-11-03 09:45 pm (UTC)I hear Jake dances around in nothing but two Santa hats. That for me is worth the price of admission.

Enjoy your jammies, sweetie! Very glad the seminar was inspiring :-)

Date: 2005-11-04 05:14 pm (UTC)It could be the worst movie ever made and I'd still feel as if I got my $8 worth. Freaking genius.
Santa hats are suddenly becoming a staple of the dirtiest images. My 8 year old self is hiding under the bed but my 26 year old self is eating it up.
