Had a very interesting day yesterday. It all started Tuesday night.

Tuesday was a pretty ordinary day. I wasn't able to go to the gym because of the need to pay rent and grocery shop and do laundry. All of these things were accomplished and I spent the end of the night folding clothes on my couch and watching a House re-run. This is a typical Tuesday night.

I had some trouble falling asleep because of some aches and pains. Thought I was coming down with The Plague again so c'est le vie. Watched some late night tv, took a shower, tried to lay down again and realized that my left leg was in a lot of pain and that it was numb.

Commence freak-out. I had just enough medical knowledge to think that something was terribly wrong and not nearly enough to know what that might be. Was so freaked out that I called my mother, something I don't tend to do, especially not at 2:30 AM. She commenced to freak out and she and my dad ended up driving over to take me to the ER.

I spent the next 4 hours in the ER waiting to talk to doctors, waiting for blood tests, etc. as my leg hurt more and more. Afterwards my parents took me over to their house and I was just happy to have the chance to take some of the happy, happy vicodin the ER docs had given me. I got nice and stoned, it was fun.

Yesterday passed with a trip to the dentist, another LSAT class and a lot of sleeping. Today I'm here at work, my legs still ache a bit and I feel generally ache-y and brittle. Am off to see the doctor today and maybe this is just the ticket so that we can finally figure out everything that's wrong. One can only hope.

Well, gosh! That sounds like a whole barrel of no fun. Glad you got the drugs and all, but geez! Hope the doctors are able to make some headway this time. Did they say anything at all diagnostic at the ER?

Take care of you!

Nothing diagnostic. Nothing really all that helpful. One doc thought it might be my shoes, but I don't where heels all that often. The doc I saw today ordered some blood tests to check vitamin levels and we'll go from there.

My current theory is The Plague exacerbated by stress, but that's just me.

Have a full season of Lost on tape and plan to spend the weekend relaxing. It should be nice.

I was just going to prescribe a weekend on a desert island populated by hotties. Enjoy!
