Mmmmmm... We had the dreamiest swim coach for two summers when I was about 10. Warren. We all adored him even though he smacked us in the ass with an oar to get us off our starting blocks faster (huh. possibly because he smacked us in the ass? swim team is weird.). We used to sing (and of course we thought we were the first to ever have thought of doing this) "We Love You Warren" to him at practice.
That was a good summer, though it ended with the terrifying but dramatic near rape of my sister's friend Megan, who was rescued by Warren's friend Beach charging across the football field on horseback, knocking her fleeing assailant off his feet, and beating the crap out of him til the police came. Good times. He was my camp counselor the next year, and I was ... agog.
Sorry. I'll stop with the cholorine flashbacks in your LJ.
Swim team cannot possibly be weirder then musical casts;-).
Wooooow. Now that's a story. Drama guys never acted like that, they were mostly blowhard divas with egos the size of humpbacked whales. There should be more Warrens and Beachs in the world.
My cough thanks your for the compliment. That song is so much fun, there are reasons upon reasons why I still remember it, even after all these years. men, i don't know what's wrong with these men today
Megan, that was awesome!!! I'm going to have to keep a copy of you singing that song for ever and play it when Chris is having another dumbass moment. You're the best, wonderful job on the song!
We miss you too, tons. But don't worry about not coming in February. We'll be expecting you in the summer :) hehehe. But really we ought to come visit you. We don't get around nearly as much as we should being poor and all :)

Good advice. All sorts of bad things can happen if one forgets to read the eye bleach directions very carefully.
