I'm just gonna get right down to the important part of this post.

We all saw it coming. We all knew Boone was going to bite the big one. It wasn't surprising. Actually, it was so predictable that I kind of thought it never would happen. After all, when has this show ever done what it said it was going to do? Rest in Peace, dear Boone. We hardly knew you.

For those who are interested, [livejournal.com profile] wisteria_ has a nice screencap tribute up for the Dearly Departed. So young, so pretty.

I was aggravated to find that it was another Jack episode. Everything on this island is all.about.Jack, the man who can do everything (see icon). He's so self-sacrificing that he gave Boone blood right from his very arm. Wow, what a guy. He married the girl he saved, except he almost didn't and the whole thing was just boring, boring, boring. Whatever Jack, you and your manpain do not interest me.

Speaking of blood transfusions, if I had been there I could have donated the blood and then Jack wouldn't have gone all hero-complex and possibly would have retained a little of his sanity. Not that it would have mattered much, as things turned out and we would have missed that great scene where Sun ripped the tube out of Jack's arm. Sun is the coolest, I'd go to her with my problems before I went to the Captain Hero Doctor Musician Donor.

Poor Shannon, she goes off to have a nice romantic evening with the really hawt Iraqi and comes back to find her brother dead. She's never going to want to have sex again. But not really cause this is Sayid and he's quite possibly the perfect man so I'm sure she'll find a way around her new issues. On a side note, isn't it cute how much taller Maggie Grace is then Naveen Andrews? Aaaaaaww, they're cute.

I'm greatly looking forward to Charlie growing up and learning how to deal in an emergency. Just look at the way he dealt with Ethan. The potential's there, he just has to learn how to trust himself enough to use it. The big hug he gave Jin after the birth was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen on my tv and proves once again that everyone, everwhere wants, no needs, to hug Dom.

Thanks goodness Claire finally had that freakin' baby. I'm sure his name is Damien and he will bring about the Apocalypse. This really should've been a Claire episode or a Boone episode, not another freakin' Jack episode.

Now who will be Robin to Locke's Batman? I'm thinking Walt. Charlie was being groomed for the role but he has a dark, uncontrollable side that Locke would not find useful. Walt is a good choice, or maybe Steve.

So, do you all think that this is the only death of the season or will there be another one in the finale?

I have blisters on my feet from wearing my new cute sandals yesterday. It's a price I'm willing to pay.

Speaking of Dom's big bearhug, I wonder if Jin thinks he's the baby's father. Jin was so cool in this episode, all calm to Charlie's "augh!!the baby's coming!!" :)

Sayid is the perfect man. I would run away with him, definitely.

There's a high possibility that Jin thinks Charlie is the baby's daddy, but that's okay cause Charlie should be the baby's daddy.

Sayid can take me on a tiki torch lit picnic on the beach anytime he wants.

Yeah, um, Jack? *points up* What she said.

I was congratulating myself through my tears last night on having guessed correctly (before last week's episode) on who was going to go. And then I had to stop because it really wasn't as hard a guess as I thought originally. But I did spend a good portion of last night expecting Jack to pull a miracle out of his Heroic Ass and save Boone, and then have either Claire or Jin die instead. I agree--it was a little weird to see these writers go with the obvious choice. But dang, they gave him a good death, for the situation he was in. I just wish he'd been able to say something about having actually spoken to someone on the radio, so that everyone will know *cue sappy, swelling music, because suddenly I LURVE BOONE!!!* what he died for.

And OMGDOMSOCUTEGIMMENOWNOWNOW!! I'm wearing my Dom panties today. Had to be done.

Dude. When you come up, you must bring a full set of tapes!!!! We must watch together!!

Dom panties are a must, though, aren't Dom panties nearly always a must? I must meet Dom and I must hug Dom and then I will probably pass out on Dom (just so long as I don't pee on Dom).

BOONE!!! *sob* We will miss you and your pretty blue eyes and your Robin-like ways. You were such a good kid and much too young and hot to die. We will miss you and hope that your death was not in vain.

This episode would have been much better with less Jack and more Doc Roe.

Will steal borrow the tapes when I come down. Hopefully with only the two of us our combined squeeing will not cause another Great LJ Blackout.

I hope you mean the Lost tapes and not the Dr. Webster tapes, because you'll have to pry the latter out of my cold, dead hands. Though I probably could be easily persuaded to copy them for you.

You know what would have been even better than more Doc Roe? Doc Roe and Dr. Webster.

Of course I mean the Lost tapes. I, thankfully already have the Dr. Webster tapes as killing you and then prying them out of your cold, dead hands would be difficult. Afterwards I'm sure your immortal soul would give me all sorts of grief.

Mmmmmmm, Doc Roe and Dr. Webster stranded on a deserted island all scruffy and sweaty and not wearing much clothing and angsty as they try to save Boone's life. Yummy.

Ooh! Copies?? *bows and scrapes some more*

Sigh... Finally. A LOST fangirlathon for me. Peppered with Dr. Webster. And, if I can get my movie back from [livejournal.com profile] the_headhunter, a little bit of Doc Roe in tight little black leather pants.

All the Lost you could ever want, and then some. And, amidst my Dr. Webster episodes there also happen to be a few special Sex and the Citys that you may like to see.

Doc Roe in leather pants? guhgurgledrool *brain shuts down*

I shall buck the tide (mmmm, mixed metaphors) and say I didn't hate Jack so much this here episode. I actually found myself interested in finding out why he has such an all-consuming need to save everyone. He apparently promises every single patient that he will fix them. I was surprised that the episode wasn't about Boone, but I accepted long ago that the show really is about Jack, so not that surprised.

Dang, I think I loved just everybody in this episode.

Bucking is good, you do all the bucking you want. Wow, that sounds kinda filthy ...

I have to admit, I was finding myself filled with the Jack love when he was trying on tuxedos with his boyfriend. As a supporting character I think I would love him but as a main character he leaves me kinda bored for some reason. He certainly does have his loveable moments, though.

I'm kinda loving everybody on the island too, even Sawyer who I was determined to only appreciate fore the pretteh. And Kate wasn't terribly annoying this week.
