Oh no, the president of the company is hanging around today! I'd better clean up my act and at least pretend to be working.

My bladder is floating away on a sea of cola. I've had so much soda to drink today it's not even funny. However, the only thing I actually regret are the peanut M&Ms. They're tricksy little buggers, I always eat more then I plan. But they're soooooooo yummy.

Got home from work last night, fell asleep and slept right through until my alarm went off this morning. It was hella crazy. Hold it, I lie. I was awake for long enough to finish watching Ice, the eigth episode of the X-Files season one. Boy howdy does that episode mark the beginning of MSR. Wow, Mulder and Scully had some fun chemistry before that but the scene with Scully confronting Mulder and him saying "I want to trust you." was just ... wow. It foreshadowed so much of the shippy goodness that was to come.

My shoulder hurts. I think Doc Roe needs to stop by and make it all better.

You know, I could be wrong, but I think ICE is the first episode of the X Files I ever sat down and watched all the way through :-)

You know, I think Ice might be the perfect beginning point for X-Files view-age. It's not deep on the conspiracy but it has all the important things, MSR, crazy alien parasites, horror and trust-issues.
