Jan. 24th, 2005 09:44 amGood morning.
Yes, it's fecking cold but, seeing as how it is actually warmer then it was over the weekend, I am not too distraught over the situation.
My feet, however, are very distraught. I think I will have to start wearing woolen tights into work just to save myself from frostbite.
What with the lack of car and the astonishing amount of snow that was crapped onto my fair city I spent a nice, relaxing weekend curled up on my couch watching television. It's all kind of a blur. I finally caught A Mighty Wind but, as is par for the course with Cristopher Guest films, I was less then impressed. Intellectually I understand why people find this and other films like Waiting for Guffman absolutely hillarious, I just don't. I suppose my sense of humour simply isn't subtle enough.
I have discovered the Sunday Hour o'Pretteh. I spent the time between 7 and 8PM flipping back and forth between The Practice and Jack & Bobby, two tv shows for which I have absolutely zero interest save for the fact that trough some sort of rerun synchronicity Ron Livingston is guesting on the one and Bradley Cooper is guesting on the other. (For those of you who do not know who Mr. Cooper is, here is a picture of him) I was highly entertained.
I did actually leave my apartment on Sunday to trudge my way to the corner store to pick up soda and crackers. I had run out of both and it was a bonafide emergency.
And on we trudge through the weary work week.

Date: 2005-01-24 04:11 pm (UTC)It was kind of nice to have a quiet weekend all curled up on the couch in a near-comatose state (broken periodically by various squeeful sightings, like Dom on I love the 90's: Part Deux. I think Zippo had the right idea.
