I think I have an apartment. It's all happened so quickly that I'm all verklempped and a little freaked but ...

I HAVE AN APARTMENT!!!!
It's such a relief to have my own place again. It's a lovely place, close to work and bigger then the last apartment I had in A2. Unfortunately the Pup can't come and live with me, so he'll stay at my parents place and pine for me (as I will for him).

I'll probably move in next weekend. Now all I need to do is find a really cheap couch.

I worked yesterday in a city who's claim to fame is as the 'Home of the Republican Party'. As I ran across the street to buy a juice and some hippie chips I noticed that a sign in the window of an empty building. It read: Coming soon Merl's Old Republican Diner. God Bless America. God Bless Bush. God Bless our Troops. God have mercy on Michael Moore. Heee, I bet Michael Moore would get a kick out of that sign.

I would like to join the Red Hot Alien Resistance. Does anyone know where I can sign up?

Yay you :) i know how happy you must be...of course you realize that this gives me leave to now call you at random hours of the evening, when you should be asleep and with total disregard for time differences ;)

Yes, soon you'll have the freedom of calling me any time, day or night. I simply retain the freedom to not answer those same calls;-).

And heck, if you ever want to do a cross country trip you now have an apartment to crash in for the night (though why you'd want to visit Michigan I would never know).

Michigan's just about the only state (outside of NY) where i don't have to worry about finding a place to stay ;)
