And, to fulfill another promise, this one made to Erin in Seattle last week, here is more of my the birthday crack!fic. Wherein Heather and Megan finally get into it and Erin is the lone voice of reason in a cold universe. Oh yeah, and there are some Peacekeepers, too.

Previous parts can be found here.

“That tralk stole my money.” The woman who suddenly really was Aeryn Sun declared, staring laser bolts at Heather. “And those two are her accomplices”.

“Hey!” Erin responded involuntarily, her mouth moving before her brain gave it leave. “Watch who you’re calling accomplices!”

“What the hell’s a tralk!?” Heather demanded at the same time.

Crichton looked them all over, a strange expression on his face. He turned to Aeryn and with what he hoped was an endearing grin said, “Yeah, about that money. It’s actually a really funny story.” His grin faded as the full brunt of Aeryn’s glare came down on him.

“I’m listening.” Was the deadly reply.

Before either Megan or Erin could eavesdrop on whatever sure-to-be-entertaining excuse Crichton would have, they found themselves being manhandled across the street and away from the site of the imminent explosion.

“I want to know what’s going on and you’re both going to tell me right.now.” Heather demanded in a low, angry whisper.

Megan gulped. “I’m not quite sure … this is going to sound really weird … ummmm.” She looked helplessly at Erin.

“We don’t know any more then you do.” Erin replied truthfully. “One minute we were asleep, the next minute we were waking up in some random alley and being called ‘Sebaceans’.

Heather gave them a look. “But you do know what a Sebacean is, don’t you?”

“Yeah,” Megan said warily. “They’re human-looking aliens and before you ask we know this because they’re from Farscape, you know, that show that used to be on the Sci-Fi Channel.”

“So, what you’re telling me is that I woke up on an alien world populated by people from a tv show that I never even watched?” Heather asked slowly, a dangerous flat undertone in her voice. “How is this in any way not your fault?”

“Hey!” Megan replied angrily, oblivious to the danger. “What do you think we did, went and invented some kind of crazy transporter to send us all into a fictional universe!? It could just as easily be your fault, because, hey, maybe you went and developed some weird psychic power that pulled us all into some weird-ass dream world!”

“Because that’s likely.” Heather countered sarcastically.

“As likely as Erin and I suddenly becoming quantum physicists. Yeah, the history major and the creative writing major were really math geniuses in disguise. Thank you, you’ve made it all so clear.” Was Megan’s sarcastic rejoinder.

“If you’re both done bitching,” Erin interrupted before the combatants could verbally dismember each other. “Could we please start trying to figure out what the hell we’re doing here?”

“That’s a good question.” John Crichton’s voice humorlessly interjected into the ensuing silence. “Another good one is who are you and why are you speaking English?”

The three girls looked up simultaneously, shocked out of their anger and consternation by the surprise appearance of everyone’s favorite interstellar couple. “Son of a bitch.” Megan whispered, rhetorically.

“Not to my knowledge.” Crichton replied, a little too cheerfully. “ But you’ll definitely see how bitchy this son can get if you don’t go ahead and answer my question.”

“Not to answer a question with a question,” Heather carefully replied. “But why are those people over there in the strange uniforms pointing weapons at us.”

Crichton whipped around, his hand automatically going to the weapon at his hip. “Frell. Peacekeepers.” He shared a resigned look with Aeryn Sun and then addressed his fellow Earthlings. “I suppose we’d better make a run for it.”

This is getting good! I know eventually I'll come in and save the day for everyone and be the new ruler of whatever place they are in. That's because I'm really awesome and I can save people and everything. :D

You would totally be that pissy, and I would definitely be that defensive and we'd all die under the weight of our combined sarcasm;-).

And I blame all confusion on the fact that this story really doesn't have any plot, I'm just kind of making it up as I go;-).
