Not that I have anything really interesting to say. Though there is that story about how the cats knocked over my hamper dragged the mesh bag part it to another room, jumped into the hamper after I had reassembled it, and then absconded with a pair of my underwear. Thankfully, Pippin led me right to it when I asked him where it was. Sometimes I think these cats are super-smart and sometimes I think the complete opposite.

Hey, you guys, Cowboys and Aliens comes out tomorrow. Wherein the cowboys will fight the aliens. I so cannot wait. I do believe it is my most anticipated movie of the summer. It's two of my favorite things in one movie! Though now, thanks to baylorsr's big mouth when we saw the trailer before another movie, I'm going to spend the entire movie thinking about how epically the people of Deadwood would beat the shit out of any alien invaders. Al Swearingen would not put up with that kind of fuckwittery in his town, oh no he fucking wouldn't.

But what does the meme think of all of this?


9 - Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?

I feel the need to lol once again. I guess that word "pairing" can mean a host of different things, but I have a feeling that the meme's definition would fall on the romantic side of the spectrum.

I've alwasy felt the most comfortable writing gen fic. It's not that I don't like romance, it's just that writing it isn't really in my comfort zone. I'm more about subtext than text, I suppose. Anyway, there are pairings that I love: Mulder/Scully was my OTP for years and years and remains so to this day. No other show, movie or book has ever given me a pairing that hits all of my buttons the way that M/S does. I also love Dean/Cas to a ridiculous degree, in fact, I've become quite shippy about the two of them. I just can't get enough of their angry, angry love. They're the first ship since M/S over which I've become so enamored.

Frankly, I'll read anything once, moreso if it's written by a writer I enjoy. I hope to one day write a pairing-centric story, though I make no promises as to that. But just because I haven't written it doesn't mean I don't enjoy it.
