But that's not what this post is about. Lately I've been running through the "to read" pile and am reaching a point where I don't have very much left to entertain myself when I'm not on the computer. So, a request.
Rec me a favorite writer and the one book of hir's that you think everyone must read. Published, non-published, fan, it doesn't matter; all I'm looking for is a good story well-told.
I'm easy for the written word, my friends, so tell me what to read. =D
