Jun. 7th, 2010 05:55 amOMG, the amazing
belegcuthalion has translated my Narnia story Once and Again into German! Her translation is over here and OMG, I can't even express how excited and honored I am by this! I mean, ya'll should've heard the squeaky little noises of glee I made when she told me! I am so completely and utterly thrilled, I feel like I've won the Oscars, or something. Now people can read my little story in a language different from the one it was originally written in! That is too awesome for words!
Thank you so much, my dear. I am excited and overwhelmed and so very, very honored.
Also, something that's only related because it also happened over the weekend,
allamboy posted a little fic called Sliding that was inspired by
baylorsr watching that cheesy old genre show Sliders over the past month, or so, and realizing that every episode could be its own little J2 AU. It's a cracky good time that I think ya'll would enjoy.
So there you go. =D

Date: 2010-06-07 11:22 am (UTC)The reason why I ever considered writing some drabbles in C.S. Lewis' magical universe with the lion Aslan are those four masterful miniatures by my online friend liptonrm; for me, they'll always be a paragon for what fanfiction is able to achieve in the best sense of the meaning. Her portraits of Susan, Edmund, Lucy and Peter are the best character studies I've ever read.
It is my pleasure, and an honor, too.
