Oh, man, I am a horrible person. I woke up early this morning, for various reasons, and after a little while decided to make a nice fried egg sandwich with cheese. Well, because I let the pan get to hot the oil burned a little and the smoke set my smoke detector off. Now I'm that person who woke all of my neighbors up early on a Saturday morning. Sorry, guys! My bad!

Day 01 - A show that was cancelled too soon.

The Middleman. It was such an awesome show that knew how to have fun. It was geekily self-referential in all the best ways and it knew what it embraced the camp and joy of all of its many, many influences. And it had such a great cast of characters. Wendy! Lacey! Noser! Middleman! Ida!

Plus, let's not forget, in the middle of all of that glee and squee, the hero was a girl! Who was a big geek! And an artist! Who's day job involved saving the world! And she had, like, real relationships with people other than the people she worked with! You know, all of those things we say we want on television really actually happened in this show! So yeah, like I said, totally awesome.

I'm the only living human who remembers a short-lived show called "Shadow Chasers", which I think only lasted 8 episodes. *sigh*

Dude, I remember you squeeing everywhere about this show and trying to get me to watch it and then it was gone.

I wish "Jericho" had lasted just one more season. I think that would have been enough to work out the plots and give us a proper closure (plus a tiny bit more Stanley, oh Stanley.) Anything more than a three season run and where would they have gone?

But my final answer will always be "Saved" - I will not let it go! I won't! Is it time I let it go? Never.
