So, I had a nervous breakdown and ran away on Monday. No, seriously, I did. I got in my car on Monday night and drove far, far away.

It's okay, though, because I eventually came back home in one piece. I just really needed to get away.

Of course, since I'm the kind of nerd who needs to plan even my flights of fancy, I had a destination in mind and a Monday night hotel booked before I even got on the road. I went to Mammoth Caves National Park in Kentucky and it was awesome. Like, really really awesome. Like, so awesome that I wish I could've had more time to spend there and I want to go back right now.

BTW, Deputh Marshall Raylan Givens says hi. He was very, ahem, helpful, when I was trapped in a cave.*

However, I am home now. And tonight is Show. And tomorrow is The Losers! And Saturday the Wrestler becomes 2nd Lt. Wrestler. And a little over a week from now Big Bang is due. So it looks like I'm going to be busy, even though I'm nominally on break.

But, seriously, I want to go back to Mammoth Caves.

*Just FYI, but the entirety of the above paragraph only happened in my head. My head loves me, sometimes, except for when it doesn't.

I've had that happen. It sounds like you had a good time in Kentucky. It also sounds like you need to treat yourself to trips more often. *hugs*

Yep, have totally been there. Am often still tempted every time I hear Springsteen's "Hungry Heart," because sometimes you just wanna take a wrong turn and never come back.

Glad you enjoyed the caves, though, nervous breakdown notwithstanding.

Gah. I need to catch up on Justified liek WHOA. We've only seen the first episode, loved it, and I've downloaded the next three, but I'm still two or three behind, and then we have to find time to watch (easier when it's just me watching, because I can just ... go off in the early morning and, like, watch it; ut with Marc watching, too, it's pretty much relegated to Sunday nights... grumble grumble)

Dude. Call me tomorrow. We need to catch up. I may not be available for show talking tonight, as I am hips deep in my final project.
