So, watched RotK again last night. Cried, of course.
The Big Lug is in the process of reading LotR (he's gotten to Caradhras in FotR), in portuguese, if you can believe it, and it was interesting to hear him and the Da talk about the differences between book and movie. The Da is something of a purist so it's nice that he has someone else he can rant with now. They got onto the subject of the death of the Witch King of Angmar and the father convinced the son that the Witch King's death was all Meriadoc's doing, since he had the knife of Westernesse and that Eowyn's roll, while flashy, had very little to do with the actual death. I, of course, disagree with this but I didn't say anything because they get kind of... passionate about their opinions. As much as I love Merry, I always viewed the death as a team effort and I know I'm right;-). Men, always have to keep the millitary glory in their gender. *grumble*

Anywho, mostly bored, did a meme that I liked so I s'pose I'll share it out.
