liptonrm_backupI have had a headache for two frigging days, people. There is nothing not frustrating about that fact. I would like to replace my head/sinuses/whatever plz&thnx.
Have not accomplished anything besides some knitting. And some movie watching. I watched Casino Royale tonight, which is always fun. Daniel Craig as James Bond is always smokin' hot. I watched Dark Knight a couple days ago and during the ferry scene I was all "Is that Cobb?!" on the civilian ferry and then I was all "I think that's Tab!" on the prison ferry and afterwards I went to IMDb and it was them! I'm just surrounded by BoB lately, it's like it's a sign, or something.
I keep on wanting to poke at stories I don't have the time to write, like the Hufflepuff apprentice wandmaker, or the Huntress origin story in the Nolan Bat'verse. And then watching 'Why We Fight' and 'Points' yesterday I was struck hard by the desire to flesh out this Garcia ficlet that I wrote ages and ages ago. Plus there's the Jo vid I want to make to this great song I heard on the radio. Why oh why oh why does my brain hate me so much? And why oh why oh why can't it want to write the story that I actually have to write?
And let's not forget that I'm nearly a month behind in replying to comments. *facepalms* See, this is why I fail at fandom. Or something.
However, the good news (for me) is that I broke down and used my loan money the complete series of Farscape (which is still on sale over at Amazon). It should be here in a couple days. I have the season one Starburst editions and the first of season two, so if anyone wants them please let me know. They deserve to go to a happy fannish home.
And I deserve to go to bed, which is where I'll go next. Hopefully my headache will be gone by the time I have to go to the playdate with my mom tomorrow. I kid you not, she mentioned something about manicures on the phone. And if she hadn't sounded so sad and lonely I wouldn't have acquiesced to her proposal. But, there you go.

Date: 2010-01-08 04:40 pm (UTC)But, I already have season one and part of season two on dvd, and since I just bought the shiny, new, complete series, my older (but still in good condition) sets are free to whomever wants them. Because something as awesome as Farscape should be shared with everyone.
