I am a happy camper. For the birthday that just passed I received a $100 gift card to Best Buy, so guess what I did with all of that gift-y goodness? Yes, that's right, I went and purchased many, many beautiful dvds. I am now the proud owner of copies of: A Knight's Tale, Blade, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Willow, Schindler's List, and, of course, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I am in movie nirvana. Of course, there are about a million other movies that I want and/or need but this buying spree has put a nice little dent in the list. It is a good thing;-).

Now, if I only knew how to make screen caps then I would be truly happy. I'm telling you, icon making is addictive, it's gotten so bad that now I even look at family pictures and want to manipulate them.

And finally, thanks to all of the wonderful people who wished my a Happy Birthday these past few days. You guy's made the day extra special.

Cool! Isn't Willow the greatest? It was the fantasy movie before LotR and it's still wonderful!

Eh, don't worry, I didn't post anything so there was no reminder to miss;-). Apparently there's some sort of lj list so I got some birthday wishes for free;-).

You'll have to teach me how to make icons sometime... The way I do it now takes buttloads of time, and just isn't worth it. I'm sure there's an easier way!

Oh, my way takes buttloads of time too. Actually, the hardest part is finding the pictures you want to use and coming up with captions to put on them. Then of course there's putzing with the image quality and choosing the colors and deciding if you need a border... You know me, I'm just obsessive;-).

A much-belated happy birthday to you! Heh heh, don't mind me, I'm just really behind on the f-list. :-\ Congratualations on your new DVD acquisitions. I love owning movies. There's just something so satisfying about seeing all those beautiful DVD cases lined up on my shelf... and knowing they're mine, ALL MINE!!! Muhahaha! Sometimes I go stand in front of my DVD shelf and cackle with glee. ;P They are my Prrrecioussses.

Mine, my own, they came to me!;-). Thanks for the birthday wishes, no matter how belated. I know, isn't owning dvds the coolest? There's just something about knowing that I can watch my favorite movies anytime I want that makes me extremely satisfied and happy. Renting is fine but owning is even better!
