I was not the only person to give hiyacynth wonderful fannish gifts this weekend. As is frequently the case, baylorsr and I worked in tandem. In fact, the inspiration for my Mockingbird 'THEN' vid came directly from baylorsr's dialogue-enhanced Didn't Leave Nobody but the Baby - Oregon Mix. [right click & save] It's just that awesome.

baylorsr also created two podfics: a nine hour and some change Mockingbird podfic and three+ hour Filling Up the Corners (a collection of four of hiyacynth's gen stories). They are both truly excellent productions, chock full of baylorsr's fantastic bells and whistles.

I highly suggest that you run right over and check out all of the goodies.

Also, hiyacynth has graciously explained the angel spooge incident which isn't nearly as bizarre as its name may lead you to believe (what, me sensationalize reality? Never *snorfle*). It's actually a really neat experience that illustrates why fanpeople are tops and how truly awesome the actors who work on Show really are.

It was a weekend full of awesome all around. It's such a shame that we can't hang out with fanpeople in RL all of the time. But thank goodness that the internet will always be with us (except when it isn't).

May never recover from the awesome of these gifts. Have been compulsively listening to/watching for four days. Am about to out myself to Marc because I can't bear him not witnessing your awesome. Feeling overwhelmed with desire to lock myself in a room and watch Seasons 1 and 2 all in a row and then lock myself in another room and listen to my podfic, and then go back and start over but then run through ALL of SPN up to current (surely S5 will have finished by the time I reach that point in the second room, right).

So, yeah. Thanks for that :-)

Did you show it all to him? Did you did you did you? Because Marc'll have to be indoctrinated some day, at least a little bit, and it would be totally awesome if he got to see how much more amazing we make each other's stuff, if that makes any sense at all. ;-)

And now weepy gratefulness is descending on me because, OMG, the brain collaboration we've had for the past, I don't know, couple of years is one of the best things that's ever happened to me. Yes, you really are just that awesome.

And we should totally plan to have a fangirl excursion where we lock ourselves in a room for a weekend and watch seasons 1&2 and then listen to Mockingbird because OMG that sounds like a splendiferous amount of fun.

OMG - I am so so grateful you posted this! Getting ready for a 5 hour drive each way this weekend, and this will make the drive a PLEASURE!

and bless whoever provided the files in .mp3 option as well, so I can split them and record them onto CD!
