hiyacynth who I wish I could see all of the time, but time and space too often conspire against us. Shows were watched and crack was discussed and junk food was eaten, the holy triumverate of fangirl Good Times were achieved.
Saw My Bloody Valentine 3D on Friday with the Baylors beforehiyacynth arrived (she really doesn't like horror flicks). It was fun in a ridiculous slasher movie sort of way and the 3D effects were most excellent. I'm not sure it was entirely worth my $10 but a good time was had by all.
Came home this afternoon and watched the new BSG. I don't have anything thinky to say at the moment, I have to let it stew for a bit longer and see how the rest of the season shapes up. But, man, the TV I'm watching this year is almost, without fail, a real drain emotionally.
You know what's not an emotional drain? The fact that tomorrow we inagurate Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. I'll be skipping class to watch it live (and cry and cry and cry, I'm sure) and I can't wait. Tomorrow's going to be a good day.
