My one New Year's Resolution for 2009 is to be a better, more proactive member of the online community. This will entail, at the very least, more frequent commenting on other people's posts and replying to each and every comment I receive on one of my posts. I feel like I've let myself become some sort of anti-social leech on society and I would like to kick inertia in the shins and turn it all around.

As a further step in my continuing effort to stop sucking, I think it'd be fun to put together a new fic challenge at xovers_ftw. I've kind of let the community fall by the wayside so now's the time to stir it up a little bit. After all, who doesn't love a good crossover?

So here are a couple questions for group: Do you think the time is right for a crossover challenge? If so, what kind of crossovers should there be? [I'm thinking anything and everything so long as one of the elements used is from a book] And would anyone be interested in participating in such a challenge?

So, I tried to answer your poll but it wouldn't record my answers, instead telling me I wasn't permitted to see the results. But I would be interested in a movie/TV crossover challenge.
