OMG, I can be a real person again. It's the greatest feeling ever. The post-finals relief always feels better than anything else, even if I've lived through it a billionty times in the past. I totally made Secured Transactions my bitch, except for the bit where I forgot to classify the collateral and exactly delineate why the security agreement attached. But whatever, I'm still FREE!!!
Went to see that Keanu remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still with the Baylors as a kind of surving-finals prize. It was, well, it wasn't the greatest movie ever done. It was filmed in Vancouver though, so there was a lot of "Watch out for the pagan god!" and "That's the guy who had his heart removed in that X-Files lottery episode" which was good fun. The credits said that Saul Tigh was in it, too (which means there were at least 3 BSG alums in it) but I didn't see him anywhere. I guess I just wasn't looking hard enough.
But, yes, anyway, fun in a Canadian Actor Bingo kind of way, not so much fun in the actual fun way. Not enough explosions and mass-death. Though watching Keanu Reeves speak Chineses was freaking hilarious, even if I don't think it was supposed to be. He knows kung fu, you guys.
We did get to see the trailers for the new Terminator movie, and Star Trek and Wolverine:Origins which were totally worth the price of admission. Man, those movies are going to rock hardcore. Wish they were coming out this Christmas and not next summer or whenever.
It might be break but I have about a billionty things to do that didn't get done during Finals. There's cleaning and baking and writing, oh my. Most importantly, I have to respond to a plethora of back comments. I don't think I've responded to anyone in at least a month. I'm a bad lj-er you guys, I'm so sorry.
