It's morning in America, my friends.

Okay, technically it's evening where I'm at, but you know what I mean. ;-)

Physically the past two days have been some of the most excruciating of my life but emotionally and spiritually I feel reborn. I read news reports and I can't stop crying. My trust and faith in America has been renewed. We haven't solved everything, we haven't, overnight, become anything like a perfect people, but this one election shows that we are able to listen to the better angels of our natures and choose the greater path.

All right, then. We've done it. And now it's time to get to work because there's still so much left to do.

*hugs you very gently*

REST. Rest and revel in the oncoming day.

I LOVE YOU.

So sorry things have flared up again - *hugs*. Rest and look after yourself. And feel proud! I keep tearing up too, when I read an article or a quote or something about the election - it's given me real hope and suddenly I feel less cynical: for some time now I've been sure that apathy will be the downfall of the human race, but suddenly I feel like there's a chance, that people care. And more than that, are willing to stand up and show it :D
x.
