Jan. 8th, 2008 07:25 pmMan, am I ever in a weird-ass mood today. It's jumped all over the place. On one end of the spectrum was the giddiness inspired by an awesomely cracked phone call from
hiyacynth and on the other end is this bizarre rage/depression thing that has me metaphorically crying into my cornflakes one minute and wanting to punch people the next. Not any specific people, just, you know, people in general. I see Summer Roberts isn't the only person in the world with rage issues.
Last night I started typing up a post about language and being a single woman and a feminist and a mormon that just got bogged down in its own wordiness. Also, since I try not to be the kind of person who's bogged down by my own emo I decided it wasn't the right time to make that post. Cause let me tell you, folks, my emo is boring and I really don't have much patience for it.
Yes, because making a post about an emo post isn't self-indulgent at all. *rolls eyes at self*
And now I'm trying to think of entertaining/cracky things because those are the sorts of things I love the best but all that comes to mind are the writers' strike and the New Hampshire primaries. WTF? Where has all the crack gone? Obviously, my brain totally fails today.
You know what I'm waiting for? The one great Doctor Who/SPN crossover. Or a Torchwood/SPN crossover, cause after all the time I spent comparing John Barrowman to Jensen Ackles during the angst scenes in the first series it's about time that Jack and Dean met up for real. Not that I'm the person to write any of these because I have no clue what would happen but it'd be pretty awesome.
Course, I'm the girl who thinks that everything should be crossed over with everything else. I'm sure I've told the story about how I started reading LotR fanfic because of a Buffy/LotR crossover. It's really not very surprising that so many of my latest stories are crossovers. All of my favorite characters should get to interact with each other all of the time, there should be a law or something.
Okay, I'm gonna go and try to be productive rather than, well, whatever else I've been. And listen to some music. Music makes everything even more fantastic.
