(no subject)

Yesterday I spent a substantial part of the morning making inappropriate comments in my head and then slapping my hand in retribution. Today I have spent a substantial part of the morning writing a Mary Sue fic in my head that will never, ever be shared with the world-at-large but is amusing, nonetheless.

If you can't tell, I am desperately bored this week, at least during working hours.

I've been slowly working through BSG season one, watching an episode and then listening to its commentary. I took a break last night, though, and watched the first half of FotR and then the Peter, Fran, Phillipa commentary, which I'd never listened to before. I'm not sure I want to listen to the post-production commentary but the art department one has me intrigued. Commentaries are fascinating. Did you know that Peter Jackson was only 28 when he started filming LotR? Oh.My.Gosh. What am I doing with my life?

Oh, wait, that's right, I'm not a genius, never mind then, move along, nothing to see here. ;-)
