It's been an ... interesting weekend. The little brother came home and now we're all trying to learn how to deal with one another again. I'd forgotten how self-righteous and opinionated he can be, but seeing that he comes from an opinionated family, I don't know why his own stubborness is just rubbing me the wrong way (I have no idea where he got that self-righteous streak from, it's pretty frelling annoying, let me tell you what). Don't get me wrong, I love the big lug, it's just gonna take some time for all of us to get used to one another again. Life is just crazy that way;-).

I stayed up late last night watching the end of season one of Alias. Oh my gosh, that was just the coolest thing I've seen in, like, forever. Sloane killing Emily, Will's torture, Jack dealing with the CIA mole, Vaughn getting stuck in the explosion, Sydney meeting her mom, Dixon confronting Sidney. Aaah, I wanted to scream. In fact, I had to keep shoving my blanket in my mouth to stop the squeals and screams before they happened. DVD truly is the greatest TV watching format there is, no commmercials, you can watch a whole season from beginning to end, it's wonderful. I can't wait to get my hands on season two and I'm so totally buying both of them when I get some money. I knew I really liked this show after the asylum episode with John Hannah, but I never thought I'd love it so much. Just like I never thought that I would find Jack Bristow to be such a sympathetic character or that I would actually feel so much for Sloane and then learn to hate him even more. It's official, I'm a junkie.

I really don't want to get anything done. I've been so bleh this whole weekend. No motivation, no desire, no ganas to do anything productive. Is it Spring yet?

and on that note...

Yes! Alias rocks! I wish you lived down here, so that when you caught up with the show, we could make a night of it. Sadly, it's on Sunday nights, and I know those are busy days for you... (sigh) Oh well... we can still rant and rave about it.

And yes, it is an amazing show! Season 2 is just as good as 1 and better... And so far, season 3 has not been a disappointment. But do you see how insanely complicated the plot is? And how I could never, in a million years, explain it to you or anyone? Last night's episode, for instance, went pretty quick. You really had to be a faithful watcher to understand it I think. But I am SO anxious for Lauren to be discovered! And SO anxious for Sloane to make a wrong move so that I can say, HA! you ARE still evil, you didn't fool me! But anyway... I can't spoil it for you. It's really a great show though, and I'm SO HAPPY I can finally share it with you.

Sorry to hear about difficulties with your brother. Sounds like it all didn't quite go as you'd planned. Yeah, what can I say, siblings are unpredictable sometimes, and other times, they're just plain annoying. But you realize that if they were just like you, you really wouldn't like them now, would you? I'm way different from my brother and my sister, and I kinda like it that way. Adds some spice. Anyway, hope things go better at home. Give him time... you weren't exactly the happiest to be home a few years ago either, as I recall. Oh sure, you were at first, but I think the novelty wore off real quick. But now you're ok with it, right? Just give it some time.

Ok, so, that said, see you Wed. night! St. Patty's day! Yay! And we'll have corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, soda bread... what else? Hmm... Dan will have to bring dessert. (Hopefully not his "crack"- chocolate ice cream with irish cream on top- ick!)

That's his crack? Dan really needs to get him some new drugs cause that just sucks;-). You say siblings are unpredictable but sometimes I think a night with that boy is even worse;-).

I agree about siblings. It is good that they're different. It just annoys me that I can't seem to relate at the moment, but this too shall pass. I just need to get a life, like, stat.

Oh Alias, my new love. I've been thinking about that show all.freaking.day. Of course Sloane is still evil in season three, he is THE evil and he'll never be anything else. I can't believe anyone would think differently. Oh yeah, I found out the name of the actor who plays Weiss is Greg Grunberg. Now we have a name to attach to the face and *sigh* I love Weiss so much.

Sorry, I just can't get into those shows where you have to watch every week really closely or you get lost. Even the eye candy can't keep me watching.

Danielle and I caught an episode of Wonderfalls on Saturday b/c we were both home sick. If you two haven't checked it out give it a try. Bummer it's on Saturdays though. Why do they do that? Put the cool shows on during the week when young folks are home, and put the stupid "old people" shows like Dateline on the weekend. Sheesh!

I am interested in Wonderfalls, it sounds kinda cool. The thing is, I've really gotten out of habit of watching most network TV shows, so I just wait till everything comes out on DVD and watch it then. I'm probably the reason so many good shows are cancelled;-).

Definitely gonna give Wonderfalls a looksee.
