Far be it from me to praise one brother without mentioning the other. I was informed yesterday that the Wrestler attended a ROTC awards ceremony where at he received something, like, 6 awards. I, of course, was not informed about any of this until well after the fact (the Wrestler is always striving for new heights of uncommunicativeness) but was very happy for him, nonetheless. Apparently he received a Cadet of the Year award, which is just nifty. He is now a cadet-sergeant and this summer he's part of a program wherein he is going to Ecuador with 11 other cadets, 5 will be from other ROTC corps and 6 will be from West Point. I told him to give those plebes what's coming to them. After that he's going to airborne school.
Yes, my little brother is going to be a paratrooper. *beams*
In other news, made some actual progress on my Forest Epic. I'm really, really hoping to have that thing finished before autumn. It should totally be doable if only I can give it the focus it requires and not get distracted by other things, like refreshing my f-list. Hey, that f-list isn't going to refresh itself.
That reminds me, I haven't said anything about SPN 3x13. Not that I have much to say other than I was SO HAPPY to have the boys back on my television screen. The episode was entertaining and had some good moments, so I was happily satisfied, overall. Bleeping FTW!!!

I will now go do Very Important Things that may involve sitting on my couch, or possibly dishwashing.
