Apr. 9th, 2008 03:09 pmAm posting because am slowly going insane. Or rapidly going insane, whatever. I feel like I've been staring at a computer screen for a week straight, and I pretty much have. I hate law school, I hate it so much, there is no descriptor to adequately describe the depth of my hatred.
One shiny point was watching L.A. Confidential this morning while finishing my Wills outline. I enjoyed it back in the day when I first saw it and this subsequent viewing was equally as rewarding, if only for the Winchester parallels in my head. Dean falls in love with a hooker and Sam is too smart for his own good, sounds about right.
I think the saddest part of the movie is when Kevin Spacey shows up on James Cromwell's doorstep. See, this is why you don't trust people.
Have not had a chance to watch the latest Who episode (though it's sitting on my hard drive) but have seen the Torchwood finale and the BSG premiere. About Torchwood all I can say is the Baylor Sister is going to kill me. See, I got her hooked on the show, burnt her the dvds and shared the crack and she instantaneously fell in love with Owen, which is totally in Baylor Sister character, trust me. By the end of 'Cyberwoman' she was in love with Ianto and her general Torchwood love just grew and grew. She's only seen through the end of s.1 (cause life's weird) so I get to look forward to her watching Owen die for fake and for real for who knows how long. And, after she sees the finale she's liable to kill me. She's gotten really tired of the high death toll over on Supernatural and when Torchwood kills off nearly half of the team I don't know what she'll do. It's okay, it'd totally be a justified homicide.
So if you hear about my untimely demise it's all Torchwood's fault. For the record.
Had a psychotic break and bought Sims2 on Monday. Already have various creations. The Cohens have a very nice house. There's a hunter neighborhood where Bobby Singer lives at the end of a cul de sac with his dog and there's a Roadhouse where Ellen is raising a teenage Jo and Ash. There's a condo community where Victor Henricksen, James Ellison, the Birds of Prey, and my brothers are domiciled. I'm also planning some low income housing where Andy, Ronald Reznick, Wolverine & a teenaged Marie, Sam and Dean, and Wash and Zoe live. There's also going to be a Torchwood compound with the usual suspects as well as Martha Jones.
Yeah, it's all a lot of crack, but crack makes for good brain relaxation.
OMG, I hate finals. Nothing combines panic and stress in outrageous degrees like law school finals. I'm going to go hyperventilate now. Please, talk amongst yourselves.

Date: 2008-04-10 02:00 am (UTC)I gotta say, Torchwood FTL for killing off Owen twice. WTF, people? And poor Tosh, who was just getting seriously interesting. Do all the other fans in the world REALLY only want Jack-Gwen-Ianto??
I have watched Doctor Who but not BSG.
Do not go insane! You only have ten days to go! Are you free around lunchtime tomorrow? I could call!

Date: 2008-04-10 03:43 am (UTC)I don't even know what the fuck is up with Torchwood. Killing Owen twice was a bit much but the criminal underuse and underdevelopment of Tosh was downright tragic. Too much fail for words.
I will totally be free around lunchtime tomorrow so CALL ME! By then I'm sure I'll be ready to spork my own eyes out and will need a fangirl intervention.
XOXO

Date: 2008-04-10 04:58 am (UTC)I still have bad dreams about being late for high school or college finals. And I haven't been in school in almost ten years.

Date: 2008-04-16 12:06 am (UTC)And, hee, I too still have dreams about high school. Mostly they involve having to go back because I didn't complete some stupid requirement. It's always fairly surreal. ;-)
