liptonrm_backupThis has been one hell of a month. I really, really hope that it's not indicative of what the year will hold overall.
Tomorrow a very good, dear friend of mine is going to have surgery to repair a broken femur. She's been in intense amounts of pain for over a week now and has been especially awful in the past twenty-four hours. Because of her other health complications the doctors didn't want to perform surgery but now there's simply no choice. No surgery is ever free of danger and my friend's history makes even the simplest procedure extraordinarily risky. Please, my friends, any prayers or good vibes or anything that you can send this way will be greatly appreciated by myself, my friend, her sister, and her entire family.
January needs to be over. Life needs to stop crapping all over the people I love.
