Nov. 11th, 2007 09:37 pmAm back from the con! Have gone completely beyond the exhausted stage to the utterly thrashed. It was so the awesomest! I met some really terrific fangirls and had an amazing time and, you know, saw some people I'd only ever seen on my television screen in real life.
But the best part, better than everything, was meeting new fangirls and babbling at each other about all sorts of crazy things. I wish I was still there talking to them all right now. I wish it would never end.
I have so many people to be thankful for for talking me into going and buying autograph tickets and actually showing up for the panels. It starts with
buffyaddict13 who convinced
hiyacynth to go who then begged me to go with her and I couldn't refuse. Then when I called and spazzed out at the Baylor Sister she and
baylorsr thought that sounded like a good time and not only did they decide to come their father volunteered to pay for a large percentage of the ticket costs. Last but not least is the Baylor Cousin who happily left her husband and kids home and came with us, bringing her mini-van along.
Wow, look, it's my Oscar speech. *preens* And I'd like to thank The Academy for making this all possible.
Yes, over-the-top tired. And now to bed. At some point I'll be sure to regale you all with stories like my extremely girly reaction to getting my dvds signed. And the bit about how Mapquest failed us all. I think I'll leave the recounting of the Elevator Encounters to
hiyacynth because I was only there for one of them.
I'm going to bed. Really I am, I promise. Yeah.

I'm very proud of us, but especially of YOU, for overcoming the fangirl anxiety. I'm so so glad you did and had a good time and didn't die :-)
Love you forever and ever, so there.

Date: 2007-11-13 07:51 pm (UTC)I am so happy my fangirl anxiety was conquered! It was getting kind of ridiculous. And it never would've happened without you there holding my hand and making me go in the first place. Fangirls FTW!
