liptonrm_backupI know I'm a day late (or so) and a dollar short but I just have to say: OMG I'M SO ECSTACIALLY ECSTATIC THAT OUR SHOW IS BACK1!!!!!!!11!!!!
The premiere made me SO HAPPY. I don't have thinky thoughts, I don't really have any thoughts at all beyond HAPPYHAPPYHAPPY!!!!! This is going to be an awesome season, you guys, I can just feel it.
The long, hard drought is over and, lo, the world was grateful.
In other news, spent some quality time with my high school BFF. She called me out of the blue this afternoon saying she was in town. We went to the local coffee shop and chatted for a few hours. It was a nice time though it can be strange talking to her cause it's almost like talking to one of my fangirls and then I'll have to translate something I said because I forgot that she doesn't actually dwell in the same fandom pool. I mean, the only fanfiction she's ever read is for Touched by an Angel and that is wrong on so many levels.
However, very, very nice to see her and I sent her away with my SPN s.1 loaner copy so we'll see if she takes the plunge. *crosses fingers* Also, she earnestly endeavored to convince me not to give up on Heroes so I'll give it another week just for her.
Saw the road production of High School Musical with the Baylors tonight. It was cute, kinda like Sammy in his production of Our Town. Their thirteen year-old cousin really enjoyed it and it was a nice excuse to dress up for once. Not such a bad way to spend an evening. Though my headache could done without all the noise and the screaming and the way good acoustics can make intermission a wall of conversation.
Know what? Only 4 more days till the next episode of Supernatural. YAY SHOW!
