That reminds me, I'm sure everyone who's at all interested knows that Jared Padalecki signed a 3-movie deal about the life of Thomas Kinkade, that really awful artist. Of all the movies I'm never going to see that's one of them. Sorry, dude, there's only so far I'm willing to go. However, found out over the weekend that apparently he's grown this hilarious pornstache for the role. BWAH!!! Hollywood is surreal and I kinda love it.

Last night I got three phone calls during Heroes, two from my mother who was fretting over the fact that my brothers were having an argument and one from the Baylor Sister who, because of the miracle of TiVO, overlooked what time it was. They're all very lucky that it was Monday night and not Thursday.

Keep on seeing cuts referencing spoilers for the finale and I'm so tempted because I want to know hot it ends so badly but I know how much being spoiled will lessen the experience for me and why can't they just show the next 4 episodes all at once? It would solve all of the problems.

True story, one night during finals I called hiyacynth because I was having a more-then-mini freak out and needed a sane voice to talk me down. She used many techniques to keep me from jumping out of a moving bus but the most effective was reminding me that if I didn't survive finals I would never know what happened in SPN's finale. It's good to have friends around to remind us of these things.

Took a drive today down back country roads, the windows down and the wind in my hair. I ended up going further west then I thought I did and got to explore some new and interesting roads. It was a fun adventure.

How do you get 3 movies out of the life of Thomas Kinkade? Was he, like, in Vietnam, and then in the Summer of Love, and then host to Timothy Leary and a roadie for the Dead, and then a missionary in eastern Peru, and climb K2, or something? Or is he secretly some kind of transdimensional painter-AGENT or something?

I shall use my new icon that epitomizes, still, pure thoughtless brilliance.

The only way they're getting 3 movies out of the life of Thomas Kinkade is because he's paying for them. Expect horrible hagiography at its most egregious.

But I might see the one where he indulges in the Summer of Love. That could be ... fun.

And Peter O'Toole is in them too. Hollywood is endlessly entertaining.
