Feb. 7th, 2007 11:09 pmYou wanna know what I did instead of watching Lost tonight? I sat on my couch and watched a documentary on PBS about the Supreme Courts, the Warren, Berger and Rehnquist courts in particular. And I enjoyed every minute of it. I discovered that Justice Hugo Black is a hero of mine and I cried when they talked about the Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas decision. I yelled at some talking head's interpretation of a Rehnquist court trend and then later amended my opinion in that the talking head might have been a little right (but not completely). And let's not forget that I got ridiculously excited that I had read the Lopez case that was the first limit on Congressional commerce power since the 30's.
You guys, if it wasn't already official, this definitely proves it; I am a nerd. It's awesome. Plus, you know, law school has warped my fragile little mind. =D
I'm sure I'll see Lost eventually. Probably. *shrugs* Whatever.
One day, I'm going to figure out how to really combine my law school nerdiness with my fandom preocupation and that will be the best day ever. Watch out, world.

I conclude that your evening was better spent, and that your brain will one day take over the world.
