Jan. 30th, 2007 06:47 pmWow, I only had 3 cases to read for Contracts tomorrow. Why couldn't today have been Thursday because now I'm *gasp* bored and I always have a buttload of stuff to do for Properties on Thursday nights. Speaking of law school:
Contracts I = A-
Constitutional Law I = B
Property I = B
Criminal Law = B-
Torts = B-
I'm not overly thrilled about these but not completely despondent about them, either. If only I'd pulled a straight B in Torts then I'd be on the Honor Roll, and that would be sweet. My Torts II professor today lectured the class for half an hour because only one person got an A. I'm willing to put good money on the fact that our specific professor last term graded harder then most because I know students in other classes were less prepared and got higher grades. I'm just sayin'.
I studied harder then I'd ever studied before and didn't quite get the grades I wanted but it's only first term, there's plenty of time to improve. Now I need to go shove an eggroll in Sam Winchester's mouth and remind him that, yes, he probably would've done better but he's also fictional so he can just shut up now, thank you very much.
If you can't tell I'm kind of stupidly competetive. 'Stupid' in that I'm not very realistic (ie, I'm competing with Sam in my head) about it. It's a good thing I didn't major in music.
Ummmm, I don't have much else. It's a good thing no one watched the SAGs with me on Sunday cause I was really loud about my hatred for Grey's Anatomy. Don't even ask me why, there is no logical, rational reason, it's just the way it is.
BSG was okay on Sunday. The stuff with Adama and Roslin and Baltar was kinda nifty. I have very little (read: no) sympathy for Baltar but Roslin and Adama and Tigh and Cottle all banded together to get information out of him was cool. I love how you can tell that Cottle doesn't approve of anything they're doing but he'll do what he has to. There's gotta be a story there about why Cottle trusts Adama the way he does. Anyway, it's not like I couldn't have told Baltar that he wasn't a Cylon but he didn't ask me for my opinion so, whatever. I really enjoyed the scene at the end where Gaeta was interrogating Baltar and then totally flipped out. It was pretty great. Yeah, Gaius, you'll get your trial, we'll see how well that goes for you.
If I never have to here about Dee/Lee/Kara/Anders ever again it will be too soon. Somehow Lee and Dee are the more fucked up relationship in that little Quadrangle of Doom. And I really, really like Anders, like a lot. He's gotten progressively more interesting over the seasons.
Ten bucks Chief is the Chosen One.
So, apparently I've become pretty damn bloodthirsty in my old age. I've been telling them to just kill Sylar for weeks now and when we re-watched the Flukeman episode of X-Files last Friday I kept on yelling at them to shoot it, already. Apparently people feel sorry for poor ickle Fluke-y? Really? 'Cause it was killing people and it didn't look like it was going to stop. We really, really don't want lots and lots of Flukes running around the sewers, you guys, the alligators are bad enough.
Man, now I'm just babbling. It's cold and snowy here and I smile everytime I step outside. Yes I know it's cool to hate the snow and I will, in a couple weeks, but I'm still on that new season high. I'll admit it, I love Michigan. It's home, ya know?

Date: 2007-01-31 04:34 am (UTC)Hee. And I could never be an English major, believe me, I took enough English courses in college to discover that. So uber-kudos to you for your choice of study. Seriously.

Date: 2007-01-31 08:56 pm (UTC)But Chief is the Chosen One because we say so. *nods*
Random: Just read my horoscope and my reaction was to say, "That's the sort of hippie nonsense I'd expect from an astrologist." When did I turn into a curmudgeon? *cracks up*
You done good!
Date: 2007-02-07 02:26 pm (UTC)BUT...we are going to have to have a talk about your illogical hatred of Grey's. That's just not right. Not right at all.
