Classes have begun again. *sigh* Today in Torts the new professor showed a clip from the last season of The Practice. I groaned but was then reminded that while Bobby was a crap lawyer, Elinor rocked. The professor had some amusing life anecdotes to tell, he seems like he'll be pretty engaging.

Found this quote in my Contracts reading today, "None of these matters are absolutes, they are mere guidelines for the courts when reading contractual language." You know what this means? Lawyers are actually pirates. \o/

elendiari22 and hiyacynth, I got both of your postcards today (one from Salzburg, one from the Alps). Thank you! They have been proudly magnetted to my refrigerator.

Dang, I'm completely out of things to say. Maybe I should go work on that 'Sam and Dean hunt a poltergeist at my law school' story. That would be fun. Or maybe the one where Sam gets covered in Selkie guts.

Salzburg was the best part of the trip. Seriously, go there if you ever have the chance. I'm glad the postcard reached you! I always worry a little about international mail. :)

One of these days I'll make it out of the continental U.S. (and Ontario, Canada) and Salzburg is definitely on the list of places I want to visit.
