Summary: The story may by over but life won't stop moving forward. Prequel to Burn My Sins Away.
( Ron curled in on himself, pulling away from the searing heat of Hermione’s back, the euphoria of the preceding minutes slipping away before he even realized that he could hold on to it, if he so desired )

baylorsr and her Sister for letting me prattle on and on about the angst and woe (while I wasn't talking about Winchesters). If they haven't been sainted yet they will be soon. hiyacynth spent a whole weekend while helping me move into my new place listening to me metaphorically wring my hands over how difficult and personal this whole thing was for me. She was a rock and gave some great advice that got me over the hardest hump of all. I must thank belegcuthalion for all of her wonderful feedback and the quiet support she gives by simply existing. Finally, and nearly the most influential of all, there was the reported comments of one shanghai_jim wondering whether I was ever going to finish this thing. I couldn't very well let you down, J, and I'm looking forward to all of the harassing you'll do till I tie up all of the loose ends that still dangle seductively.
I've put a lot of myself into this story and its companion. What started off as a random impulse to have Ron Weasley and Xander Harris meet up in a bar transformed into something bigger, and better, then I'd ever imagined. It's been a great ride, at times intensely therapeutic and at other times more aggravating then I can ever express but always more then worth it. Here's hoping that I can take another ride just like it sometime very soon.
