Sitting around, waiting for my laundry to dry. I'm wearing the new flannel pj's that my mommy got me for Christmas Eve (she gets all of us pyjamas for Christmas Eve, it's a tradition) and these are big and warm and comfortable with dogs all over them. They're adorable.

The Pup is living with me again. We are both much happier for it, though he is demanding. There's always something he wants and I am such a push-over. He is spoiled and it is all my own fault.

I made out fairly well on Christmas and expect to do better once I can get to the store and spend some of the gift cards my brothers got me. I did get West Wing season 2 which I'm going to sit down and enjoy soon. I just finished mainlining the end of season 1 of Farscape that I got from the every beautiful hiyacynth. Man, I love that show. And, it's funny, when I started watching Supernatural and realized I was falling hard for Dean I thought that was strange because Dean isn't my normal type but watching John Crichton I realized I shouldn't have been so surprised because I've loved him for ages and he and Dean have a hell of a lot in common. They make my heart break but good and then some.

You know what would be awesome? Well, now that Stargage: SG-1's been cancelled Ben and Claudia totally need to do at the very least a guest spot on Supernatural. I get all flaily and excited at the very thought of it. There would be so much pretty on my TV screen that my head would explode.

I can't wait till January. I really, really can't.

Saw The Nativity Story with the Da last night and it was actually very good. It wasn't disturbing like I imagine The Passion of the Christ was (I never have seen that and have no desire to do so) but quiet and sweet with some very nice grace notes that flesh out biblical characters nicely. Plus the cast was great, two Academy Award nominess (Keisha Castle-Hughes and Shoreh Ashgadaloo), Julius Caesar from Rome (Ciaran Hinds) and a Star Trek doctor (Alexander Siddig). I spent the car ride home playing the actor connection game, which is always fun and exciting. So, yes, all in all a good movie.

Also spent time yesterday visiting with my high school BFF and her mister. It was like the meeting of two different geek factions, they're very into the gaming side of geekdom and you all know that I'm heavily into the media/fanfiction side of geekdom. A good time was had by all and we ended up chatting for 3 hours, or so and I even got in a pimp for Supernatural. I am determined that all shall love my show and despair.

Have some cleaning to do before baylorsr shows up tomorrow with her steam-cleaner. That apartment looks a heck of a lot better then it did at this time last week, but there's still work to be done. After that I hope to finally get some writing done. I've got stories that have been languishing for months (not least of which is the SPN one I've been plotting about something evil in the woods and what happens to the people the Winchesters leave behind). I love break, it is the bestest time of year.

I put a small envelope of treats in the mail for you today. Should get to you by Saturday or Monday. Nothing earthshaking, just doings from Newport, with the rest of the DVD filled with the most recent adventures from Cardiff.

I certainly do wish you prolificness and an absolute dearth of broken bones! I hope you have all sorts of fun with your sister and the kiddos. They certainly are lucky kids to have the coolest aunt in the cosmos.

I will pine away the hours until you return. ;-)
