I don't know what the Pup is going to do when I watch the SPN premiere on Thursday. Yes, the Pup is living with me now (YAY!) but I just watched a promo thingy over at the CW website and I started making high pitched noises and I got all extra excited and then I had to go calm the dog down because my excitement got him all riled up and now he's kind of whining and staring at me because he wants to play but, yeah, point of this is I am so over-excited for Thursday that I can hardly concentrate on anything.

Ever since [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth started falling down the deep hole of SPN love and calling and squeeing my love has been ratcheted up to the nth degree. I had two different dreams last night that I was watching the premiere and then in class this morning I had a hard time concentrating because all I want to do is think about Winchesters (OMG!).

In less crazy news, I saw Heroes last night and it's really, really good, I highly recommend it. A serious ensemble drama about proto-superheroes, what's not to love? There's apocalyptic visions and indestructible cheerleaders and a guy from Japan who is the biggest fanboy evar and can manipulate the time/space continuum.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love TV? Because it's true.

Jericho is also a fantastic show that has chances of becoming even more awesome. Maybe TV creators are finally learning the real lesson from The X-Files, it's not the government conspiracies that kept people watching, it was the drama of the characters. Give an audience good characters with engaging plots and you'll have us, try to wrap cardboard characters around an implausible conspiracy and we, the genre fans, will get bored.

Damnit, I was supposed to start outlining this week. I think Thursday is ruining me for any upper level brain function. WINCHESTERS! *cue heart palpitations, shallow breathing, and flapping hands*

I'm pleased to hear that my trip down the SPN hole of utter doom is amusing to you. Sorry to be escalating the excitement to dogs-ear pitch!

Off to watch the last two eps now. And then my doom will be complete, and you can bet you're gonna hear about it.

Stop pimping TV, would you! I can't watch all of it!

I also love Heroes and I've been quite bitten by the pilot of Jericho. Skeet Ulrich's character reminds me visually of someone I wrote about once.

Plus you noticed Richard Speight Jr. was on Jericho.

If you ever get to California, you need to visit the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, because while it is not about the Winchesters, it is just supernatural enough to be cool.

I was just saying to her last night that they totally needed to make Widow Winchester some sort of long-dead relative and have those boys wander around the Winchester Mystery House for an hour and see what kind of hijinx ensued. That place is too cool and creepy not to have had a creepy tv show use it as a location.
