Sep. 8th, 2006 05:18 pmNow that was a satisfying afternoon. Got back from class and took a nice, long nap. Life is occasionally really good.
First day of Torts, didn't have the sold-out coursepack and felt like a moron for a part of the class but that soon passed. I'm not looking forward to being called on in any class but it'll happen, eventually. Not so sure how much I like the Torts professor, she's very gregarious but there's something unmoveable in her that is off-putting, almost as if I'm seeing two different people at once while she lectures. hmmmm
One amusing moment, the prof was discussing how much liability an adult would hypothetically have if he/she left a loaded gun out on a table when a bunch of five year-olds were coming over. I suddenly had an image in my head of an AU Sam Winchester in his first year of law school coming to the bewildering conclusion that he could sue his own father for the way he was raised. Except I don't think he would really have a case because John doesn't seem like the negligent type, I'm sure he was very strict about all of the weapons they had, etc. etc,. But, still, I can imagine Sam going out and getting really drunk and eventually falling down laughing because of the absurdity of his childhood.
See, this is how I make it through lecture. =D
I am a whole bunch of bleh this afternoon. I'm hoping to have a new mix up later this evening, so watch your f-list for more musical goodness!

Date: 2006-09-09 01:01 am (UTC)*giggles like a 12 year-old* Dean and Sam make everyday better. How did we survive the daily humdrum without them? Thank goodness we will never have to do so again.
