Sep. 5th, 2006 04:35 pmHad an absolutely fabulous weekend imbibing in the Dr. Who love. I am now beyond thoroughly indoctrinated. I want a TARDIS, but only if it comes with the Doctor. Especially if it comes with the Doctor. I laughed, I cried great heaving sobs, it was brilliant. I can't wait to see more.
hiyacynth was a lovely hostess. Wow I love fangirl weekends, there's so much to talk and laugh and squee about. I love my fangirls so much. love love lovelovelove
Today was my first day of law school. The lecture went well. It was Contracts and the professor was an engaging lecturer. My panic is slowly dwindling though the overwhelmed feeling is still firmly in place. However, on the way to the bus this morning I stepped into a hole (a real, literal hole, I think a gopher dug it) and sprained my ankle. It's a pretty bad sprain, so bad that the doctor hardly even touched it before ordering an x-ray, but a sprain is all it is. I look pretty funny hobbling around on a cane but should hopefully be much improved in a few days.
There's some sort of irony in this. If I weren't so stubborn I'd think the universe was conspiring to keep me out of law school but the universe knows well and good that now I'll keep going just to spite it. I'm nothing if not petty and willful. =D
Over at SciFi.com they've started posting the webisodes. I think this link should take you to the first one. It is so very cool. Why isn't it October yet?
OK, have to toddle off and do some more studying. I will leave you with two thoughts: 1) No one angsts like Jensen Ackles, as exemplified on 'The Berrisford Agenda' last night, and 2) Ron Livingston's new show premieres tonight with Gina Torres. If I die of teh pretty you'll know why.

Had the most lovely weekend! Still reliving my mental highlights reel.
Sigh. We must make a solomn vow that when the Doctor arrives for one of us in the TARDIS, we will sweet talk him until he picks the rest of us up, too.

Ankle feels much better today, hopefully I'll be limp-less in a couple days.
Absolutely. If the TARDIS shows up all fangirls will be included in the journey. Don't listen to the Doctor complain, we all know he loves all of the chaos. Though maybe not the high-pitched squeals, we might have to promise to limit those. ;-)
