liptonrm_backupSaw Poseidon with the Baylor Sister yesterday. It was ... worth the matinee price. It wasn't bad, definitely had a great disaster movie vibe to it but it would've been a million times better if the theater had been completely empty and we had had the freedom to snark at will. It got exponentially better the wetter the guys got so that was all good. It either needed more character development or less, I'm not quite sure which, but it needed something to kick it to the 'freaking sweet' level. It was almost taking itself too seriously, ugh, I don't know. Remind me to never make disaster movies when I'm a Big Hollywood Producer, I obviously don't have a real feel for them, or some crap like that.
All in all, you can never go wrong with wet guys running around while shit blows up. =D
I happened upon a great sale on Saturday and I got something like 3 pairs of slacks and a couple tops for under 100 bucks.I also got a kickin' new pair of loafers (you remember my 'OMG I love heels, how weird is that?' from a couple weeks ago? Next time I say anything like that remind me of how heels really are the spawn of the devil, srsly). I feel strangely like I'm buying myself an entirely new work wardrobe which I kind of am, since a lot of my clothes are still buried in boxes and others were by necessity retired to the good will bag.
I am so gorram groggy this morning. Why isn't it Friday, yet? I think I need nappies.

Then the Sister was all, "Well, after Joe lost his leg Lipton got him a job at his younger brother's bar." and it was too cracky for words. ;-)
